The Orissa Pisciculture Development Corporation is the only public sector undertaking in the Fisheries Sector incorporated during 1998 after amalgamation of two corporations named as Orissa Fish Seed Development Corporation Ltd. & Orissa Maritime Chilika Area Development Corporation Ltd. The main aim of the Corporation is to carry on business of the pisciculture to deal with fish net webbing to supply fuel and lubricants of fishing vessels.
