- 5.1 About 80% of the States population are fish eaters. The annual per capita fish consumption during 2003-04 is 8.75 Kg. During 2003-04, the total fish production of the State was 3,06,902 M.T. The import and export of fish during 2003-04 is 35706 M.T. and 85612 M.T. respectively. The overall increase in fish production during 2003-04 was in the order of 13,611 M.T.
