This institute has developed a therapeutic for increasing disease resistance of brood fish and fry of carps, which is ready for commercialization. The drug is having the following properties.
- If injected to brood fish and grow out before winter season, the fish remains healthy and free from microbial diseases.
- If injected to brood fish two weeks before breeding, it enhances high spawn survival and better post spawning health of brood fish.
